FAQs
What should I wear?
We are a casual-dressing congregation. You’ll see a variety of styles—some wear khakis and polos or dresses and skirts, while others come in jeans, shorts, and t-shirts. Wear whatever makes you comfortable and ready to worship with us.
Will I be singled out as a visitor?
No, we won’t ask you to stand up or participate in a "time of fellowship." However, that doesn’t mean you won’t be greeted! Our members love to make new visitors feel welcome, and we hope you’ll feel like you belong here.
What does a typical worship service look like?
We believe worship is a shared experience, so our services involve congregational participation. This includes singing a mix of modern and traditional hymns, with the occasional contemporary praise song, as well as Scripture readings, prayers, offerings, and communion. Our sermons are typically expositional, walking through Scripture passages, though we occasionally preach on topical themes.
Is there anything for kids?
Yes! We offer Sunday school at 9:30 AM for all ages, including children. During the service, we provide children’s bulletins with activities like coloring, word searches, and other fun exercises to help them engage.
Is there a nursery during the worship service?
We do provide a nursery for those who prefer it. However, we encourage families to worship together. As has been said, "God put the wiggle in children," and we believe they are a vital part of our worship experience. Jesus welcomed children, and so do we—"Let the little children come!"
